Illegal Cellphones in Prisons

Over the last few weeks, multiple stories regarding contraband cellphones in prisons have surfaced.

In Oklahoma, California, and Texas, accounts range from cellphones being smuggled in by prison guards with other illegal items, including tobacco and drugs, to that of the inmate who used a contraband phone to threaten a Texan lawmaker.

CellAntenna, and its subsidiary, CJAM, are currently working with Tecore Networks to install a "managed access" system in Downtown Baltimore.

CJAM is a proprietary solution provider for law enforcement and correctional facilities worldwide.  CJAM provides solutions including: cellphone detection, cellphone control, and cellphone jamming.  Visit CJAM.com for more information.
